Throughout the history of the parking meter this is the first time that a replacement to the traditional pipe standard has been offered.
Not only is it stronger than pipe but also incorporates a coin box more than 5 times the capacity of the largest single parking meter coin box available.
It's appearance in the streetscape is far superior to pipe and is also suitable for operation by the disabled - being designed for wheelchair height.
Although designed for use with the POM parking meter head assemblies, the pedestal can be used with other meters.
