The SY910 Facial Recognition Terminal is a complete time, attendance, and access control system using face recognition technology to instantly identify employees in seconds. It provides a touch-less, hygienic alternative to fingerprint and hand readers, while still eliminating “buddy punching” and the need for cards or badges. Employees simply look at the clock and within seconds they are identified and clocked in for work.

Biometric technology is the technology standard for employee data collection for a wide variety of industries including manufacturing, finance, health care and many more. HandPunch units eliminate the need for badges or passwords which can be lost or forgotten by identifying an employee by the unique size and shape of his or her hand. A key benefit to using a HandPunch unit is the elimination of buddy punching – when employees clock in and out for one another. The HandPunch unit also eliminates unauthorized overtime by forcing schedules that restrict when employees can use the terminal.

The design of the HandPunch time clock is made to withstand daily use of nearly any workforce. The casing is constructed of injection-molded plastic, which is strong yet lightweight and the silicon rubber keypad creates a seal against the outside elements. Additionally the unit’s internal lithium battery keeps the time and calendar accurate, and holds data in the event of a power loss.

Programmable with Genesis PRO/SQL: Each function key can be programmed to collect up to four items of data, plus the initial employee ID and time stamp. For example, an employee could press function key 2 and be prompted to input a work order number, part number, and then prompted to input a quantity. This demonstrates just three items of data.

Durable construction: The Biometric Hand Reader is constructed of injection-molded plastic, which is pound for pound stronger than steel, yet lightweight and attractive. The terminals have a silicon rubber keypad, which creates a seal against the outside elements, including those found in a spilt cup of coffee. The terminal comes with an integrated wall-mounting bracket.

16 Character LCD backlight display: The terminal comes with a highly advanced 2×16 backlight liquid crystal display. This means that under almost any lighting condition the terminal will give you a clear picture.

Battery backed memory: The Biometric Hand Reader has an internal lithium battery keeping your data safe even if the power is out for weeks. The terminal’s internal lithium battery not only holds the memory, but also keeps the time and calendar accurate. With the addition of the optional internal battery backup, all functions are 100% operational if power is removed. Once power resumes, the battery automatically recharges. With the Time America terminal, your collected data is no longer at the mercy of the utility company.

Lockout Scheduling: Eliminate unauthorized overtime by scheduling when employees can use the terminal. With this feature you can: lock out tardiness, lock out early birds, force late arrivals and early departures to notify the supervisor in order to punch, control punching by time of day and control punching by day of week. Supervisors may be allowed to override a lockout. When used with access control you may set up time schedules for employee access.

Employee Messaging: After the employee enters their ID number, the terminal can display a 16-character message to that employee. Messages such as the employees name, hours worked, or location to report to may be downloaded to the terminal. Messages are specific to each employee, so messages such as “HAPPY BIRTHDAY” can give your data collection terminal that human touch.

RESET’s TA785 time clock functions as a simple to use data collection point for employee information. It can be linked to a variety of existing computer networks in your organization to complement the management information systems you already have in place. By automating your data collection process, you can eliminate the manpower and mistakes associated with conventional time cards thereby reducing both payroll costs and errors.

The TA785 guarantees accurate, reliable input. Employees simply enter information through the TA785’s keypad, by swiping a magnetic stripe, bar code, or proximity badge. In addition, the TA785’s Biometric capability supports multiple types of fingerprint sensors. Employee feedback is provided through audible accept/reject tones and displayed messages.

Communication between the TA785 time clock and your computer is accomplished by one of RESET’s polling and programming utilities or integrated time and attendance systems. The TA785 automatically transfers data to your computer. In turn, the computer is used to program the TA785. Each of the TA785’s 8 function keys can be programmed to ask up to four levels of information. Each piece of information can be validated and stored in the terminal’s memory until requested by the host computer. The TA785 can be programmed to prompt employees for data input, display employee messages, validate job costing entries, restrict employee punching via a schedule, regulate employee access to restricted areas, control a bell and much more. The TA785 collects this data and transfers it to your computer via RS232 serial, RS485 LAN, internal dial-up modem or Ethernet communications, whether wired or wireless.

The TA785 is constructed of injection-molded plastic that provides a tough, yet lightweight and attractive case. The TA785’s internal battery provides full operation if power is lost.
