After over 10 years using RESET’s swipe cards and Hand Scanner clocks, Yumi’s have upgraded to contactless Biometric Facial recognition clocks for its entire food processing staff at Hallam.
Due to these clocks being placed in refrigerated wash-down areas they have been sealed in electrically rated boxes with clear Perspex covers so staff simply look at the biometric camera and are clocked on or off for their shift.
Yumi’s staff stated that the great thing about the new Face scanners is that they are contactless and more hygienic so removes issues like the need for swipe cards, clean hands or fingers and it takes less than a second to clock in.
