TA715 time clock — supported by Reset
The TA715 sat between the simple TA600 and the fully featured TA785: a card terminal with function keys, on the Reset Care coverage list and still supported.

Where the TA715 fits
The TA715 belongs to the same wall-terminal family as the TA785 and is covered by Reset Care on the same terms. Sites that run them usually run a mixture — a TA785 on the floor where transfers matter and TA715 units on the doors that only need in and out.
As with every card terminal of that era, the two things that fail are the reader head and the communications path. Neither is necessarily the end of the unit, and neither is a reason to replace a system that is otherwise doing its job.

- Keep the software side healthy — polling, pay rules and payroll exports
- Supply replacement cards while the terminals are still running
- Look at a failed unit and tell you honestly whether anything can be done
- Plan the move to a current terminal, and migrate employees and history
TA715 in one line: a card-based terminal — badge swipe, wired Ethernet, no wireless. Manufacturer parts are no longer available, so a failed unit is a replacement rather than a repair. The modern replacement reuses the existing wired network point, so there is usually no new cabling.
