Payroll exports — the formats TA100 and Genesis write
The export is the point of the whole system. Hours are calculated once, approved by a supervisor, and handed to payroll as a file — not re-keyed off a report.
Both products write the same set of formats. Which one you need is settled at installation, along with the pay codes your payroll already uses.
MYOB
TA100 and Genesis both export to MYOB, in the formats its payroll products read — AccountRight, MYOB Advanced, EXO and PowerPay. Hours are calculated and approved in the attendance software first, so what reaches MYOB is a file rather than a screen someone retypes. Which of the four you need is settled at installation, along with the pay codes your payroll already uses.
MicrOpay
TA100 and Genesis both export to MicrOpay. Hours are calculated and approved in the attendance software, then written as a file MicrOpay reads — no re-keying from a printed report. If your MicrOpay setup expects particular columns or codes, the export is mapped to match during installation.
Attaché
Both products export to Attaché Payroll. The file carries hours already split into the pay categories your rules produced, which is the work that would otherwise be waiting on someone to do by hand. The mapping is set once and then runs every pay period.
ADP
TA100 and Genesis export to ADP. The export is defined during installation against the fields your ADP payroll expects, then produced from approved hours each pay period.
Airtable
TA100 and Genesis export to Airtable. The export is built to the column layout your base uses, so approved hours arrive in the shape you already work with rather than as a file somebody has to reshape first.
Arrow
Both products export to Arrow. Hours are approved in the attendance software before the file is written, so what goes across is signed-off time rather than raw clock data.
Aussiepay and ePayroll
TA100 and Genesis export to Aussiepay and ePayroll. The file is generated from approved hours at the close of each pay period, with the field mapping set once at installation. If your bureau changes what it wants in the file, re-mapping it is support work rather than a new project.
Chris Payroll
Both products export to Chris Payroll. Pay categories, allowances and overtime arrive already separated by the rules the software applied, so payroll is loading a file rather than interpreting a timesheet.
Empower
TA100 and Genesis export to Empower. The export runs on the same cycle as your pay period and draws only on hours a supervisor has approved.
HR3
Both products export to HR3. The mapping between your pay codes and the software's pay categories is defined once at installation, and then repeats without attention every period.
Lewis PayPak
TA100 and Genesis export to Lewis PayPak. Approved hours are written to the file PayPak reads, in the codes your payroll already uses.
Microsoft Dynamics NAV
TA100 and Genesis export to Microsoft Dynamics NAV. The export is built to the field layout your NAV configuration expects, which differs from site to site — so it is specified during installation rather than assumed.
Neller
Both products export to Neller. Hours reach it already calculated against your award and approved by a supervisor, so the payroll run starts from a signed-off number.
Preceda
TA100 and Genesis export to Preceda. The file is produced from approved hours each pay period, mapped to the pay codes your Preceda setup uses.
Pronto
Both products export to Pronto. Approved hours are written out in the format its payroll reads, with the mapping settled at installation and left alone after that unless your pay rules change.
QuickBooks
TA100 and Genesis export to QuickBooks. The export carries hours already split into pay categories, so what arrives does not need interpreting first.
QuickPayroll
Both products export to QuickPayroll. The file is generated from approved hours on your pay cycle, in the codes your payroll already uses.
Sybiz
TA100 and Genesis export to Sybiz. Hours are calculated once in the attendance software and handed over as a file, which is the whole point of running the two systems together.
TechnologyOne HRP
Both products export to TechnologyOne HRP. The export is defined against the fields your HRP configuration expects and produced from approved hours each period.
WageEasy
TA100 and Genesis export to WageEasy Payroll. Award-driven pay categories come across as the software calculated them, so nothing downstream is asked to re-derive what the attendance rules already worked out.
WinPay
Both products export to WinPay. Approved hours are written to the file WinPay reads, with the field mapping set once at installation.
Also built for
Reset has written payroll exports well beyond the list above — Talent2, Pay Global, Geac, Genius, Masterpay, Landmark, Axia, Accpac, National Payroll Services and IPS Payroll among them. Several of those payrolls are still running at sites we support, and an export written for one of them does not expire: if you are on a system whose original supplier is long gone, the format very likely still exists here and can be brought back into service. Tell us what your payroll is called and we will say whether we have written to it before.
Excel and custom formats
Two things matter more than the length of any list. First, hours export to Excel — so if your payroll is a spreadsheet, or your bureau wants a spreadsheet, that is a supported path rather than a workaround.
Second, building your own export format is included with a new system. SAP and other ERP exports are mapped to the specification your finance team supplies, and so is any payroll not named on this page: columns, order and delimiters to your requirement, defined once and run every pay period. Custom export formats are ordinary work here rather than a special project — it is how we take on systems whose original supplier is long gone.
Data comes back the other way too: employee records can be imported from payroll rather than typed into two systems.
